NabuSQL is built by the team at Nabukodonozor — a small engineering company from Zagreb that has lived and breathed databases and business-critical systems for years. We've worked on everything — from fintech and medical solutions to specialized business analytics tools — and kept running into the same problem: serious data work demands a tool that is fast, predictable, and free of unpleasant surprises.
So we built NabuSQL. First for ourselves, to have a comfortable, stable, cross-platform desktop tool for MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, MSSQL and other databases. Then we realized that other developers, DBAs, and data people who just want to get their work done — without fighting licenses, subscriptions, and quirky UIs — need the same thing.
We believe in a simple philosophy: buy once, use forever. NabuSQL has no subscription, no lock-in, and runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux — powered by Rust and Tauri. Our focus is on the everyday workflow: fast connections, clear schema browsing, a solid editor, safe data handling, and as little friction as possible.
